This is an abstract found-object sculpture of the Spruce Goose, with a rendition of Howard Hughes at the wheel. This multi-media piece combines sound, motion, and light to invoke an overall impression of moving back into time to the original “Spruce Goose”. The propellers are old fan blades and they actually start up and sound like a real airplane. The steering wheel and tail move randomly and all the lights light up.
